5 days ago (2/10/2020)  I did some prints in color, 2 days ago I couldn't print anything, although the laptop was on and was connected to the network, in the laptop showed offline. I managed to fix that, but after doing that it won't print in color anymore. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the software several times, have gone to the printers at control panel and removed it, have gone to the drivers and removed them, and still won't print in color. Then followed the instructions I found from 2018, from of another HP person in this community, and will allow me to print in color only one time and goes back to not printing in color. I tried to pick the color option in the printer properties when printing, but it won't even appear there anymore. Can some one help me? I am going crazy, and I need to print some things in color urgently.

Thank you,

Armida

Hello,

In order to solve this problem, configure a new port as follows:

  1. On the keyboard, press the Windows logo key and the R key simultaneously. The Run window opens.
  2. Type control printers, then press Enter. The Devices and Printers window opens.
  3. Right-click on your printer icon, then click on Printer properties, click on the Ports tab, and click on Add Port....
  4. Select Standard TCP/IP Port and click New Port....
  5. Click Next, then enter the printer's IP address (e.g. 192.168.1.97) in the Printer Name or IP Address field and click Next.
  6. Once the port is added, click Finish and close all windows.
  7. Try to print.

I remain at your disposal in case of need.

Best regards,🤠

SHLMOIL:  I see you are an actual person which is good because I need to talk to one!  I found one of your posts from 2 years ago that might help me out but for some reason when I click on it the link doesn't work.  I have a printer cartridge (yellow) that is defective.  It needs to be replaced immediately!  I'm enrolled in the Instant Ink program, so someone should just send me one ASAP because my printer is used for my business, and the printer will not print without it.  It asked me if I'd like to print with blank ink only and I said yes.  But it still will not print.  And after following ALL instructions (replacing, cleaning, etc.) the printer still will not print and just leaves a cartridge problem error up indicating that the yellow cartridge is not full - yet it is brand new.  Please let me know how I can jump start the process of getting this defective cartridge replaced ASAP!  And yes, all the software, hardware, etc. is up to date.  Thanks!

It's an HP OfficeJet Pro 8620 working with MacBook Pro Catalina.
