The printer is only three months old. Everything worked fine till replaced ink cartridges. Replacement by the book, no error messages given, but system now refuses to print in colour. No matter how many times or ways I try to select the colour mode,it instantly switches back to monochrome and borderless printing giving message that colour setting conflicted with some other setting. But does not indicate which setting, nor were any changes made in the first place.

I'd suggest the below listed that should fix the issue.
- Check if there are any Windows OS updates pending. If yes, then install the updates , restart the pc and then try printing.
- If issue still persist, you may uninstall and re-install the printer software .https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/printers
- You may simultaneously try using HP SMART APP https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04675142
