No, I cannot print anything in color. I use a Dell laptop that is less than a year old. My husband has a Mac Book Pro and he does not have an issue. I have uninstalled the HP drive and installed the full driver several times and still no success. The same thing happened a month ago and I was able to resolve the issue by uninstalling and reinstalling the driver.
Thank you

Hi @Goodcat
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.
I understand you are not able to print in color from your PC. Let us try these steps:
- On the PC, go to Control panel > Devices and printers > Add a printer(at the top)
- Under 'Choose a device or printer', click on 'The printer I want isn't listed'.
- Select 'Add a printer using a TCP/IP address'
- Find the IP address of the printer by tapping on the wireless/ethernet icon on the printer screen
- Type in the 'IP address in Hostname or IP address' box, click next
- Proceed to the next steps by following the on-screen instructions.
- Try printing in color.
If the issue persists, Install the printer using Windows built-in driver
Refer to this document to know how. Try printing.
I hope this helps! Keep me posted.

I was having the same problem for MONTHS. I'd actually given up trying to figure it out but I REALLY needed to print in color tonight. This is what worked for me. I went to Printers & Scanners and deleted the printer. Connected the printer with a USB cable and reinstalled via Add Printer. It printed in color. This copy of the printer is USB dependent. Went back to Printers & Scanners and selected Add Printer again and it installed it as a wireless printer. Detached the USB cable and it still prints in color. Lot less steps than uninstalling/reinstalling drivers.
Hope this works for everyone else too.
