Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 6230 ePrinter

The 3830 printer is out of stock so I’m looking at the 6230  My questions are about the ink and connection. Does it need programming to connect to WiFi or is it simple like the 5440 where it detects the WiFi and connects automatically?

 

Does it use a color cartridge or separate cartridges?

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

There is no programming required to connect the printer. You have to go to the printer settings and connect it to the wireless network. As this has a touch screen, it is user friendly.

 

This printer uses 2 ink cartridges. 1 black and 1 tri-color.
