My printer won't print blue ink. I have followed the steps, replaced multiple cartridges, vented the cartridges etc...

I have gone through your Post and I understand your concerns

Please print a Quality Diagnostic Page and let me know how it prints

  1. Load plain white paper in the input tray.

  2. From the printer control panel, open the Setup  menu.

  3. Open the Reports or Tools menu.

  4. Touch Print Quality Report.

A Print Quality Diagnostic Page prints.

I did that and only the blue doesn’t print.

Try cleaning the Printhead and let me know if that works

  1. From the printer control panel, open the Setup  menu.

  2. Open the Printer Maintenance menu.

  3. If necessary, open the Tools menu, and then touch Clean Printhead.

    A test page prints.

Example of the printhead cleaning test page

  4. Examine the test page.

    • If the print quality is unacceptable, touch Clean Again to continue the next level of cleaning. If necessary, repeat these steps for the third cleaning cycle.

NOTE: If the printhead is badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes before you perform all three levels of cleaning again.

My blue won't print. I have changed cartridge x 2, cleaned print-head multiple times and still no blue (but I did managed to waste $25 each magenta & yellow). Diagnostic page has NO blue.

Appreciate you trying the steps. I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Thanks!
