I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers several times. It still won't print anything other than the internal test page. Any file I send to the printer (including postscript files) generates an error. Las time I looked at the properties of the file that was sent I noticed it was tagged as a RAW file, Does that mean RAW Postscript?  That could be at least part of the problem. FYI I'm using the latest version of Windows 10 and I have to assume the full featured driver.

I and VERY frustrated, I've been a loyal HP customer for some time (since 1990), always used HP printers. However this experience is causing me to rethink my choices,

I suggest you uninstall the printer driver from root level and download the full feature software

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
6.) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the “Drivers” tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Restart the computer and download the Full Feature Software from Here and follow the onscreen Instructions

Hmmm,  I must have done something wrong.  I don't see my update.  Here goes, The problem is still happening, however it may be getting worse . I can still not print. Further when I try to use network-related settings using the front panel of the printer I get this message "this feature has been locked by the person who set up the printer"  The problem is I'm the person who set up the printer. What did I do wrong to put me in this situation? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers and printer installations however I've yet to get the printer up and running. As a last ditch effort I may try using a USB cable to set up the printer, get it working and then switch to a wireless (not ethernet) connection.  That seems to be a workable solution mentioned in the instructions. I've yet to find mention of the error message and what causes it.

If someone has a suggestion, I'd be thrilled to try it.
