Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I just switched out a router (same brand, and same type), now my printer will not connect to the wireless internet . I labeled the network the same name as before and all of my other devices have connected without issue.

 

It will not see the network and even when I try to reset the network settings nothing happens. Can you please send me the message that resets the printer. It has seemed to work for others.

Welcome to HP support community.

 

Restore the printer to the original network settings

1. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ).

2. Touch Network Setup.

3. Touch Restore Network Settings. A message appears stating that the network defaults will be restored.

4. Touch Yes.

5. Print the network configuration page and verify that the network settings have been reset.

 

Set up the printer on your wireless network again

1. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch (Wireless).

2. Touch ( Settings ).

3. Touch Wireless Settings.

4. Touch Wireless Setup Wizard or Wi-Fi Protected Setup.

5. Follow the display instructions to complete the setup.

I Have already tried that multiple times and it is not working. Can you please send me an alternative fix?

This might require one on one interaction to fix this issue.

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
