HP Officejet 4632 e doesn't not recognize color cartridge.

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Replace both the b/w and color cartridges. The b/w works the color doesn't. I've done everything listed online. firmware is up-to-date and whipped the cartridge with no luck. How do I return the cartridge or replace for a b/w cartridge now that the cartridge bag has been opened.
