I followed suggestions from other members... cleaned the print head several times in hot water, let it soaked and dried it. I also did a power reset. Reinserted print head and the new ink cartridges, 4 of them in proper slot. Still getting same error. "Ink system failed,.....
I am thinking of buying a new printhead. My printer is out of warranty. About 8 yrs .
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

And still if the issue persists, this could be a hardware issue.
I request you to talk to HP support.
They might have multiple options to help you with this.
- Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
- Select the country.
- Enter the serial of your device.
- Select the country from the drop-down.
- Click on "Show Options".
- Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
