HP Officejet Pro 8620 unusable due to Improper Shutdown and Carriage Jam Message

OfficeJet Pro 8620
macOS 10.14 Mojave

I've spent the last 1.5 hours following every thread in this forum to perform a hard reset on my printer, reset to network default, unplug for 2-3 minutes and then hold power button for 30 seconds, and nothing is working. I still receive the same "Improper Shutdown" message followed by a Carriage Jam. I've tried everything, including watching an exceedingly boring 18 minute video on HP's site. Is there another way to perform a hard reset? The printer carriage is stuck on the right side of the printer and can't be accessed. I'm out of options.

Thank you

@MishiMakwa, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I'm afraid this seems like a hardware issue with the printer. If you have tried all the steps mentioned in this document and the issue persists, please contact our HP Support team for Service Options:
