I have the same issue altough with different model. My printer is PHOTOSMART B210A . I appreciate your help

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'm afraid this printer does not have an option to perform an OOBE reset. Please contact our HP Support team for further assistance:

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Select your product type below.

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Select the appropriate option based on your preference.

6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.

Yes it has 00BE. I have done every reset except REFLASH. I have two print heads, setup cartridges (new and old), I have tried every posible way it always ends up with the PLEASE INSERT SETUP CARTRIDGES screen. I´ve cleaned the contacts, etc.. I´ve read that is an issue when you make a full reset of your machine and haven´t found any solution in this forum. My printer is like I new (haven´t used it a lot) it´s in perfect condition althoug my guaranteed has expired. What can I do with a printer that is stuck in that INSERT SETUP CARTRIDGES screen? (useless) I wonder if there´s a way to bypass that screen or reflash firmware by mmc card, I dunno. I appreciate your help and looking forward to click that button that my problem has been solved. Thank you

@B210a, I understand your concern. There are no other troubleshooting steps that can be performed to resolve this issue apart from the OOBE reset. As you have mentioned that you have tried it already and it did not help, HP support team will be able to assist you better. Kindly contact them for further assistance.

@B210a, yes, I'm an HP employee and this is HP Community.

 

This issue needs some additional technical assistance that can be better provided through one-on-one interaction with our HP Support team over the phone as the OOBE reset did not help.

 

The instructions and the link to contact the HP Support team is mentioned in my previous post. Kindly check the same.

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".

Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
