have a hp office jet 6700 Premium printer; working fine then suddenly This came up

 

incompatable

 

the printhead installed is not intended for use in this printer or is damaged

 

what gives?

Can anyone help me get rid of this message from the Printer schreen. I havve done everything suggested by HP several times but can't get the message to go away.
