Been printing pictures for weeks...now all of a sudden my printer is not recognizing the 4x6 photo paper tray. I have reset the printer, I have taken out and replaced the photo paper, I have taken out the paper from the main paper tray. What is the issue here and how do I fix it? NEED ANSWER FAST, in progress...

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the photo tray issue.
Let's try these steps -
1) Take out the cartridges.
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Wait for 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector.
5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.
Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Try re-loading the photo tray, refer to page#18 for instructions from the user manual.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
