HP Printer "Remove and Reinstall the indicated ink cartridge"

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
As mentioned in the topic above, I'm receiving this error after installing a new cartridge of ink I purchased from my local Best Buy. I made sure it's the correct ink as I've replaced the ink cartridge before in the past and I've done all of the steps mentioned in the other forum topics I've seen created by other people that have encountered the same error I've received. I've tried returning the ink cartridge back to Best Buy but they won't let me return it since it's been opened. Please help as I do not want to spend another $20 on an ink cartridge.
