HP photosmart c4780

My printer is printing anything i copy and paste from a different source blurry. If i type up something on word and print it, it prints fine. Its just when its coming from another source. I have tried realignment multiple times. I've also tried taking the cartridges out, disconnecting all of the cords, waiting and then hooking everything back up. Its still doing it. I've gotten new cartridges and still its doing it. I'm not sure what else to do. Its like theres a disconnect from the internet or downloaded files and the printer. Also yes i am getting the right ink for the printer.

Hi @ams0123

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you

Due to the current global COVID-19 situation, we're seeing an influx of customers coming in for support. We appreciate your patience.

To better assist you -

1) Does the copy print out the same way?

2) What's the application you are trying to print from?

3)What is the operating system on your computer?

While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page -

  1. Load Letter or A4, unused, plain white paper into the input tray.

  2. Touch the lower left corner of the control panel four times until Support Menu displays on the control panel, and then touch OK.

    NOTE:

The OK button becomes visible when you access the Support Menu

Figure : Touch lower left corner of the control panel

    1. Lower left corner of control panel

  3. Touch the menu button next to Support in the upper-right corner of the control panel () until Reports Menu displays, and then touch OK.

  4. Touch the button in the upper-right corner of the control panel () until PQ Diagnostic report displays, and then touch OK. The print quality diagnostic report prints.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
