HP Tango X - solid Amber Bar/cant print/can’t restore default settings/NOT A PAPER JAM

HP Recommended
HP Tango X # 3DP64A
iOS

Can’t print. Tried holding WiFi button down for 5 seconds to restore settings but it won’t do it. A solid Amber colored bar is at the bottom. Button to open the cartridge area is also Amber. There is no paper in the printer or any jams. The printer was turned off for a month while I was away and when I turned it on to use it, the solid amber bar was revealed

Hi @KKC2020

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Amber light indicates -There is a warning or printer error

Let's try a power reset on the printer

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
