HP deskjet 2050

My HP deskjet 2050 just won't connect to the computer.  It shows in my Devices and Printers but with the troubleshoot icon attached to it.  I have unistalled it, reinstalled it, changed the cable for a brand new one, had HP doctor try to fix it, all to no avail.

Is there any fix at all, or do I just really need junk it...

I found a fix for this issue.  I unistalled everything HP and reinstalled with a BASIC driver that I downloaded from HP.  Runs like a champ!

It seems that all that fancy stuff they were adding by way of updates was getting in the way.

Of course, I am using an older computer with Windows 7 still on it, so perhaps that has something to do with it, as well.

Just happy I got it back online.  🙂
