HP DESKJET 2630
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello

My printer is not printing any documents from Word or Adobe Reader.

I have the latest version of the HP Smart App and I have downloaded the HP Print and Scan Doctor as well as the drivers that were recommended.

I have used the USB cable to connect directly to the laptop but it doesn't work. I have tried to print wireless from my laptop to the printer. A few days ago, this was working fine (printing via WiFi) but now it doesn't work. I do not connect my printer via my normal internet router, but i have tried it and it doesn't work.

I have the latest updates installed for Windows 10 and other programs, yet it is not solving my problem.

I re-installed the HP smart app and the printer on my laptop but now it is saying the name of the wireless printer is "Scan Only - HP6E563A (HP Deskjet 2600 series)-DO NOT DELETE" . It wasn't there before.

Please assist.

Kind regards

Welcome to the HP support community.

Perform root level uninstallation to remove all the printer related software's.

  • In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
  • Select your HP printer.
  • Select Uninstall.
  • In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
  • In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
  • Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
  • Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
  • Click on Drivers tab.
  • Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
  • Select OK.
  • Remove all instances of the same.
  • Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
  • Close Devices and Printers.
  • Restart the PC again.

Download and install printer full feature driver

Click here to download the driver.

I hope that helps.
