@ER26

Thank you for being a part of HP Forums. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.

I understand you need support and I'll be glad to help you out. However, for an accurate solution, I would need more details:

Where do you see the  encryption credentials expired message, is it on your Mac PC or on the printer control panel display?

Are you able to copy documents?

The wireless light on the printer is it steady or is it blinking?

Let me know!

@ER26

You are welcome 🙂 Removing and re-adding the printer on your Mac may resolve the issue, let's try these steps:

1.) Click the Apple menu, click System Preferences, and then click Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners.

 Example of the Printers & Scanners window

2.) Click the printer name, click the minus sign to delete the printer.

3.) Click the plus sign , click Add Printer or Scanner, click the printer name.

4.) Confirm AirPrint displays in the Use or Print Using menu, and then click Add.

Select AirPrint from the Use menu

5.) Try to print.

Let me know how it goes!

@ER26

You're welcome.

I truly appreciate your patience and efforts.

As @senan6806 is out of  the office today, I'm replying to you.

I suggest you to update the Mac OS on your computer and also try updating the firmware on the printer by following the below steps:

NOTE: The printer must remain powered on during the firmware update and needs to be restarted once the firmware update is complete.

Once again you may try to print and check. Hope this helps.

Feel free to let me know how it goes.

Cheers! 🙂

@ER26

One possibility is that the printer's server certificate has expired. To resolve this issue please follow the directions outlined in the document "'Encryption Credentials Expired' Error Displays".
