HP office 9015 locked out

HP officejet 9015
macOS 10.15 Catalina

Thank you for taking the tie to help me with this issue.  One day I noticed that a bunch of items in the house had become disconnected to my internet, including my printer.  To make a long story short, I have a guess that someone else in the house clicked on a website they shouldn't have because my printer is now completely locked out.  I cannot access ANY settings, and when I click something, I get the error that the person who set it up (me) is blocking that.

I tried unplugging it, hoping that it would clear any memory, but that did not work.  Even the reset printer has been greyed out and blocked. Is there a way to directly connect to the printer and fix the settings?

Any suggestions? Thanks!

@FitTeach87, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Resetting the printer to its factory settings may help. Let us try these steps:

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
  • In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage

Let me know how this goes.
