Hi - I have the exact same issue as https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Inkjet-Printing/HP5510-Printer-screen-frozen-pls-help/m-p/6870828#M756... and have tried all the steps suggested, but nothing is working at all. I replaced the ink with genuine HP ink a while ago and it worked fine with the limited use the printer has, then one day this appeared.

 

Please help - I desperately need to be able to use the printer ASAP.

@dj808, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

This looks like a hardware issue.

 

If the device is out of warranty, and we've concluded that this is a hardware malfunction, I may have a few pointers/suggestions to help you out, however, since these suggestions are limited to you and your printer alone, I'd like to send out a private message with those details.
