HP5520 not printing black ink

HP 5520
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My HP5520 has stopped printing black ink. so far i have:

Changed the ink, twice;

Cleaned the print head using the printer 'clean print head'

Physically removed and cleaned the print head with water/cleaner

Replaced the Printhead with new one

changed the ink again

It's still not working. and there isn't a trace of black ink coming out...is this a case of printer in the recycling?! On a sub note, there seems to be a LOT of black ink pooling in the cartridge 'resting' area of the printer - i don't know if this is relevant?

If you have already performed the steps from the document Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
