HP 6970
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Printer won't print in color, has no color option in preferences.

Printer does not copy in color.  New HP original cartridges.  Multiple clean printhead.  Checked the vents, clear. Print report shows NO color blocks at all.

I'm stumped.

You most likely have a bad printhead, is the warranty still valid?

No. Printer is...um, several years old? Can't remember when we bought it, probably 4 or 5 years ago.

Black printing is fine, crisp, clear, well saturated.
