Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Received a Missing Printhead message Error code 0XC19A0040

Uninstalled and reinstalled cartridges and printhead multiple times

followed instructions for power down & power up several times

 

Virtual support suggested Firmware update.

Downloaded Firmware updater - which found printer - clicked through to Firmware update

message says Firmware update Not Applicable

 

Now what can I try?

Also just performed the Hard Reset as recommended by Jeet_Singh although it was for a different cartridge problem.

No change - same "Printhead appears to be missing ..." message

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to help you with the Printhead error.

 

Please try these steps - HP Printers - Error Indicates Faulty Printhead

 

If the issue still persists, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding this.
