My printer worked perfectly at first. Now the if I print something black, there are horizontal lines that appear. I've tried everything to fix it. Can someone please help?

I did everything and it worked two days ago. I printed today and I'm back at square one.

You will need to replace the black cartridge.

Is that because its too old and hardly used, not because of the amount of ink left?

@Carlo15, inkjet printers need to be used at least once a week.
