HP Office Jet 6600

I received a printhead error message so I bought a cleaning kit to try first.  I cannot figure out how to remove the printhead from the printer.  Everything I see says pull the latch up and lift the print head out.  How do I get to the printhead?  Does the whole top of the printer come off?

There is not latch on the 6600.

You will need to remove the top part & then disconnect the electric connections from the back.

Youtube has many vids on this procedure.
