Hp Envy120 printer

The display illuminates intermittently, and the problem was traced to the 50 pin ribbon cable

Need to dis-assemble front display panel (hp envy120 printer), to access connector for ribbon cable. . I can access one connector on the board near the cartridge area. The other connector appears to reside inside the moving display panel.

The printer was brought from US. Not sure if parts/assembly for this printer are same as ones made in Europe. Removed 4 torx  screws at bottom of display panel (facing paper tray) but could not separate from the glass front. Has anyone successfully done this? Many thanks

I understand that you would like to disassemble the control panel.

HP will not recommend opening the control panel. It is not a user-replaceable part.
