HP350 ink cartridge

Hi... I have an ink cartridge HP350 unused in its sealed wrapper but I do not have the outer box so I don't know the expiry date any more. The codes on the wrapper reads "MYP6 180900 170327 2028". Can anyone decode this for me please?

I know it's not the end of the world without not knowing the expiry date, but I'm just interested to know.

Thanks in advance.

@TL88,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

The code doesn’t look like the expiry date of the cartridge. The expiry date will be printed on the cartridge itself and also on the box.

Please refer to the below article to know more about the warranty information of the cartridges.

Hope that answers your question and you have a great day!

Thanks The_Fossette

The codes are not expiry date, but I know you can work it out from the codes on the wrapper... but I just don't know how!!

I've taken the cartridge out of the wrapper now and it says "2019/03/27" on the cartridge which will be the expiry date.

So from the codes on the wrapper in my original post, seems like the 2nd set of numbers is 2 years before the expiry date, possibly the manufactured date.

I just wanted to know this for the future, so I don't need to open the wrapper to find out the expiry date.

Thanks for your reply anyway.

@TL88,

Yes, you are right,  the second set of numbers is the manufacture date.

If any other questions arise, please feel free to write back to me.

Cheers!
