I have an HP 3830 All-in-One series printer.  The printer is attached to my network router wirelessly.  I access the printer through the network router.  I do NOT access the printer directly using the printer's SSID.

I'd like to disable the printer's SSID and still be able to print wirelessly via my network.  How do I do this?

Thank you.

@chas4za Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you want to stop the printer from broadcasting it’s SSID.

Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.

Turn off the wireless direct options from the printer front panel menu and it should stop broadcasting the SSID.

If the issue still persists, Please update the printer firmware

let me know how that pans out,

And the answer to the above question will help me, help you!

Keep me posted, and if any of the above questionnaires helped resolve the issue,
