Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Do you get the error message on inserting your old ink as well?

If not this is a cartridge issue and you can either contact the store/website for an exchange/refund or the the HP Support Team for the same.

Note:  Select the country accordingly to get the contact details for support.

If you still get the error message on inserting your old ink too, then perform these steps: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-7610-wide-format-e-all-in-one-series/5153788/model...

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
