Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So my printer stopped working. I have only used it for about 15 pages or so and it suddenly started printing using only blue ink and now is not printing anything. If I run the test print page it prints parts of it in very light color. Where there should be information or text in black ink it just a blank space.

 

I've installed drivers again.

I've run every print test.

Cartridge levels says OK

 

I'm so close to throw this machine out of the window.

Welcome to HP support community.

 

Clean the ink cartridges

  1. Make sure to load the input tray with plain, white paper.

  2. On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, then touch Setup.

  3. Touch Tools, then touch Clean Cartridges.

    The printer prints a Print Quality Diagnostic report.

  4. Examine the print quality on the Print Quality Diagnostic report.

    • If the print quality is acceptable, click No. You can stop troubleshooting.

    • If the print quality is unacceptable, click Yes when prompted to perform the next level of cleaning.

Hi there. I also did that twice. Quality is not acceptable, after the next level of cleaning it just says it’s done and the problem persists.

If you have done step 13 in this document:- Click here

And if the issue still persists, this could be a hardware issue.

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
