Hello, My HP Envy 5000 is not printing Magenta. I've tried everything, downloading and reinstalling software, printing in single colour, cleaning printheads etc. I decided the tricolour cartridge must be faulty, and put in a new one today - still not printing Magenta!!! Help please.

If you have tried all the steps mentioned in this HP document:- Click here
And if the issue still persists, this could be a hardware issue.
I request you to talk to HP support.
They might have multiple options to help you with this.
- Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
- Select the country.
- Enter the serial of your device.
- Select the country from the drop-down.
- Click on "Show Options".
- Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

Hi guys, problem solved! I had tried everything, but since I now knew it was not the cartridge, I did the whole thing again. Uninstall, reinstall - and bingo, it worked! I don't know why, and I don't care! I have my wee Envy again. Thanks folks!
