Hp envy photo 6255

Envy photo  doesn’t recognize loaded photo paper.  Reports that It’s out of paper.  I am printing from my IPhone 8 Plus

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the "Out of Paper" error. 

 

To better assist you - 

 

1) What's the application that you are trying to print from? 

2) What's the paper type and size? Please refer to this document to know about the supported paper type and size. 

3) Does the copy works? 

4) Have you tried printing from a different device? 

 

If the Photo Paper is supported, please try these steps - 

 

Update your iPhone. Refer to this document for steps -  Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

 

Update the printer's firmware. Here's the document with step by step instructions - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

 

If you are printing using AirPrint, try HP Smart app and if you are printing from HP Smart app, try AirPrint.
