I have an HP Envy 4524 printer which prints perfectly off a recently purchased ASUS chromebook. Although it previously scanned onto a Windows laptop it will not scan onto my chromebook. It displays a message NO COMPUTER FOUND, MAKE SURE SCAN TO COMPUTER IS ON. As far as I can see I do not have any HP files on my chromebook which I could open to check settings. Is it possible to scan via wifi from this printer to a chromebook? Thanks.

@GavinRissone, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
You can Scan documents and photos with an HP printer using Webscan through the Chrome browser. No additional software or drivers are required.
Refer to this document for more info and to know how.
Also, you can watch this video on setting up scan on a Chromebook from a HP printer.
Note: This video is not from HP but a third part channel on youtube.
Let me know how this goes.
