I cannot set default paper size of tray 1 to U.S. 10 envelope

HP OfficeJet Pro 8630.

I want to be able to set Windows to have the printer select proper tray automatically, based on paper size loaded in each tray.

I've loaded U.S. 10 envelope in Tray 1.

I've loaded Letter paper in tray 2.

In  "HP Officejet Pro 8630 Embedded Web Server", logged in as admin: 

Under "Settings" > Paper Settings:

I have set "Letter" as default paper size for Tray 2.

I cannot select "U.S. 10 envelope" in default paper size for Tray 1. It is not a choice on the drop-down menu.  There are many other choices, but "U.S. 10 envelope" is not in the list. 

Is this a bug?  Or am I missing something?

Let's try doing from the Printer control panel: 1. Make sure the printer is turned on. 2. Make sure you have turned on automatic selection of paper source. 3. From the printer control panel display, touch and slide your finger across the screen and touch Setup. 4. Touch Tray Setup, touch Default Tray or Tray Lock, and then select the appropriate option.

Thank you for answering.

1) There is nowhere in the control panel to set the paper size.

2) The firmware on the printer was and is already on the most recent firmware.  To confirm, I downloaded the firmware from hp.com and ran the executable. It found the printer, and the status message was "not applicable"

Any other ideas?  I suspect it is a bug in the firmware.

Have you tried checking the print settings on the PC?

Refer to the steps mentioned in this document under 'Paper type, size, and input tray settings'. Make these changes under printer preferences in Devices and printers window.

If the issue persists, try creating a custom size

Refer to this document to know how.
