I get a config problem 0x80004005 when trying to print from my HP x360. My ENVY works fine.

HP Recommended
HP INJET 5745
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I get a config error when I attempt to print from this computer.  Worked great for 2 years now I get a config problem 0x80004005.  Using my spouses computer we can print just fine.  I have tried everything I can think of.  When I try to reload the printer and driver I also get an error message saying install failed.  Please help

Hi,

Try following below version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe

 

Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.

 

Try printing and check for any change, if the same remains try printing using the newly added print queue copy and check.
