When I turn on the printer it goes through its procedures and then says there is a paper jam. I have checked and rechecked and I don't see anything wrong with the paper cartridge or pages left in the machine. When I say OK it says the printer wasn't turned off properly. This is because I pulled out the plug when it was just spinning in shut down mode for hours.  When I say okay it then comes up with the code OX6100004a. I looked this up and it said to do a hard shut down and restart after taking out the ink cartridges. I can't get to the cartridges though. They are locked to the right. What now?

If you have already performed the steps from the document '0xc19a0005' or Similar Error Code Displays and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
