@Lennydw, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Are you using an HP Officejet 7210 printer?

Have you tried restarting the printer?

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  3. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  4. Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  5. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.

This model printer does not have a home button, however, to exit from a menu, press the cancel(X) button.

For more info on printer interface and button information, refer to page 9 of the user manual.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

@Lennydw

Are you referring to the printer driver on the computer screen or the home screen on the printer control panel?

What do you see on the printer screen?

Reinstalling the drivers will not help if the issue is with the printer control panel. You may send a picture of the issue in your next post for better understanding.

Keep me posted for further assistance.
