Hello, I bought my Officejet Pro 8720 (serial [edited]) in the United States in 2017. Last year, I moved to France. I bought a new 957XL cartridge on "HP boutique France" a month ago and I have an error message saying that it is not compatible. The "HP boutique France" site indicates that it is compatible with my model but the software says that only the 952 and 956 cartridges are compatible. My previous cartridges belonged to zone 2 (USA?) and the new one is 4 (Europe, France?). I read on the support forums that HP has different regions for different products. Is it possible to change the region of my printer from the United States to Europe (France)? Can you help me? Thank you in advance

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue. 

 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
