HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3545

Hi,

    I bought my HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3545 in India. The cartridge number there was 678.  But now I am in Netherlands and here the cartridge number for this model is 650.  I bought that but the printer says that it is incompatible.

 

    Please help.

@SauravMorik, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue. 

 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. 

 

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Hi,

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

HP customizes some printers and ink cartridges to meet local customer needs. If you take your printer from one country/region to another country/region, you might not find ink cartridges with the same number on the label as your original ink cartridges. If you install an ink cartridge with a different number on the label, you might see one of the following error messages:

  • Incompatible Cartridges

  • Cartridge Not Intended for this Printer

  • Incorrect Cartridges

As mentioned in the above post by the HP expert, a regionalization reset may resolve this issue. I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
