Ink Catridge error - Country change (UK to India) led to Catridge change from 302 to 803

HP OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One Printer series

Hi Experts,

Ink Catridge error - Country change (UK to India) led to Cartridge change from 302 to 803 - I purchased the printer from the UK and moved back to India. In India HP cartridge for HP OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One Printer series is 803 as against 302 . the catridges are original.

1. Customer support told  - I need to reset my country code - not sure how this is done in the printer.  I need assistance, if this step is actually going to resolve the issue.

2. Also want confirmation whether 803 is the right set of catridge for my printer.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

Sayantan

@Sayantan224, Welcome to HP Support Community!

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
