964XL cartridge
Hello everyone,

I've just bought my first replacement cartridge, a 964XL black, and I am a bit suspicious about it. When I opened it, the cartridge was right there inside the cardboard box, without a sealed plastic bag, or any seal on the cartridge itself. Is this the way they are packaged? Or was I ripped off with a refilled one put inside an HP box?

Thanks!

There is no plastic bags or any kind of seal tapes on this cartridge, only naked ink cartridge in the card box.

You can see it on an official HP video tutorial, the cartridge opening starts at 00:45 of the video

Your cartridge is legit.

thank you for your quick reply Prem_M, but unfortunately it doesn't help me. The box is clearly original, my problem is with what's inside. Do the cartridges come like this? No plastic bag, no seal on the cartridge?

Thanks Valsimot, that is exactly what I need. I expected a sealed plastic bag, and this HP support page reinforced that idea, because the box is not air sealed.

But from your answer I see my cartridge is fine, thanks!
