Product: HP ENVY 4500 e-All-in-One Printer series
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite

We have instant ink so receive cartridges through the post when our printer is low.

This week the colour ink ran out so I looked at the HP Instant Ink account to find that a cartridge was sent 3 months ago - the tracking info indicates that it was delivered to a neighbour but neither my husband nor I have any recollection of a card being placed through the door and we certainly never received the cardridge.

 

The issue is that I have been completely unable to speak to an actual human being about getting more ink! The website sent me in circles for 2 hours this morning ndicating that my product doesn't exist or asking for codes that I can't find (product name, serial number and FBU code aren't enough!!!!)  and there is no chat facility so we are without ink despite paying monthly for it and having children with projects due!!!!!

 

Does anyone know how I actually speak to someone about getting this rectified before I just go and buy another NON-HP printer?

 

*UPDATE* I finally managed to find a chat facility - not sure I could find it again but all sorted for now
