Product: Photosmart 6520 e-all-in-one printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have purchased and installed two new HP 564 black ink cartridges for my HP Photosmart 6520 e-all-in-one printer. The printer is functioning properly but the paper comes out blank.

I have tried all these steps without success.

 

I had let all four cartridges run out and wonder if that is part of the problem. If I replace all four and not just the black one will that fix it.

 

Everything else works right - and there is ink in both black cartridge. But it is not getting from the cartridge to the printer.

 

I do not want to pay for a costly repair or a new printer.

You most likely damaged the printhead, there is no fix for this type of problem.

Most likely because the ink dried in the printhead.

Is there any way to clean the printerheads other than by using the tool on the printer?

Not on this model, but you may find some tips on youtube.

There are many budget printers in the 30 -50 dollar range from different manufacturers.
