Hi - My printer is 4 rooms away from my laptop. When the printer runs out of paper, the only way that I know a refill needs to be done is by going to the printer to get the sheets that I thought I had printed and nothing is there. The printer lets me know that the paper has run out. Is there a way that I can have the printer send a message to my laptop that this has happened? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, LdyBGood

Welcome to the HP support community.
You can check the ink level using HP smart app from your computer.
HP Smart app (Windows 10): Download the HP Smart app (in English) from the Windows store. Add your printer to view ink or toner levels on the home screen.
You can refer this HP document for more assistance:- Click here
I hope that helps.
