Example: HP officejet pro 8600
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Missing or failed printhead. Unplugged the printer, waited 5 minutes and error still exists. Opened the printer. removed everything as described, replaced them and the error message still persists.

I understand you are not able to print due to this error. I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.

 

If you have tried the steps mentioned in this document and the issue persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware issue with the printhead.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
