I recently moved from Mexico to Canada. I brought my HP Officejet Pro 8610 with me. Recently I´ve purchased a complete set of 950 and 951 cartridges and I´m getting the "Incompatible ink cartridges" error. Is there a way to change the regionalization of the printer?

Hi @Sarandi73
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.
Check if the ink cartridges belong to Z10 or Z30 series.
HP customizes some printers and ink cartridges to meet local customer needs. If you take your printer from one country/region to another country/region, you might not find ink cartridges with the same number on the label as your original ink cartridges. If you install an ink cartridge with a different number on the label, you might see one of the following error messages:
-
Incompatible Cartridges
-
Cartridge Not Intended for this Printer
-
Incorrect Cartridges
If the printer and the ink cartridges were bought in different regions, we will have to perform a reset to resolve this issue.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
