A week ago I started to notice that the colors were off. I determined that the CYAN cartridge was running out of ink. When I replaced it with a new HP cartridge I got a message that the printer was not recognizing that the cartridge was installed. I did this several times and continued to get the same message until finally I installed it without getting the message. I then tried to print in color - still no CYAN. I purchased another cartridge and installed it with the same result - no message and no CYAN color in the printout. The other colors are printing fine.

If the issue persists, I recommend you to contact the HP Support Team regarding this as this could be a hardware issue.
