My HP Officejet Pro 6960 has stopped printing black ink . Problem persists despite replacing ink

Officejet Pro 6960
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Printer first printed a very mixed page with intermittent black with text lines missing then failed to print any black at all. Black cartridge was replaced and print heads cleaned with no change in performance.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

Since you have already changed the black ink cartridge and cleaned the printhead but the issue persists, this could be a possible hardware issue with the printer. If you have tried the troubleshooting steps mentioned in this document, please contact our HP Support team for Service Options:

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Select your product type below.

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Select the appropriate option based on your preference.

6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.
