MY HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium ADFwill not pick up the document and feed it into the ADF. It acknowledges that the document is in the input tray with a chime sound --- but when you mash the copy button ---it makes a short grinding noise --- and then there is a message on the panel that says '" reload the original and try again " --- doing that just does the same thing again and again --- ? This printer has some features on it that cannot be had on new models like the 9015 and 9025 --- and this 8600 printer works perfect except for the ADF which has never been used more than for 200 documents --- I want to keep this printer, but I would like to use the ADF for multiple copies or faxes. PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR IDEAS ON FIXING THIS PROBLEMS --- THANKS, jim-_123

Yes, I have cleaned the pick up rollers and the separation pad. That effort did not solve the problem. Several days later I did the cleaning process again ---- problem still exists --- did not solve the problem --- THANKS FOR THE SUGGESTION ANYWAY --- Jim-_123
